Welcome to the No Risk No Energy Summer School promoted by the University of Salerno.

The No Risk No Energy Summer School is promoted by the University of Salerno and it is financed by the H2020 project S4CE (Science4Clean Energy).

The Summer school aims at identifying what are the major risks for people and ecosystems connected with the exploration and exploitation of the principal sources of energy, focusing on the subsoil geo- resources.

The concept starts from the consideration that zero risk is not a feasible concept. For the exploitation and exploration of the considered sources of energy, also the so called clean energy, some risk should be born.

An interdisciplinary team of reaserchers will give the students all the critical elements to evaluate real risks and opportunities coming from the most common sources of energy.

The Summer School will host 26 PhD and/or postdoc students all over Europe.

Target participants: it is principally targeted to Physicists, Engineers, Chemists, Geologists and Environment experts.

Application: interested students will register to the following link and will send their CV to Raffaella Russo.

Deadline: July 20th. Admitted students will be advised by July 31st.

Fees: No fee is requested. Food and accomodation are finaced by the project. Travelling costs will be charged by the students.

The summer school will take place on September 16-18 at the University of Salerno
